Empowering individuals to conquer their dream
Sailing is one of very few sports in which having a physical disability does not have to be a disadvantage. Through its adaptive sailing programme, The Even Keel Project will give both the able bodied and disabled the opportunity to participate together in a sailing activity that would otherwise be normally outside their reach.
The project's philosophy stems from the importance of accessibility, the idea of breaking down barriers and creating a fun and functional environment that will increase participation.

Even Keel Open Day and 'Try Sailing' Season

All eyes are on UKSA at Cowes on 9th April for the Even Keel Open Day. This celebrates the start of the season from the Project's UK base and includes a summary and preview of our forthcoming developments.

This heralds the start of our 'Try Sailing' season the following Thursday 15th April for disabled groups and individuals who would like to have a sail in a performance keelboat.

Bookings are taken for Thursday, Friday and Saturday sessions. Individuals showing promise will have the chance to compete in the Artemis Even Keel Challenge during Cowes Week. Interested? Contact details below.
